If you are starting from basics we will concentrate on the elementary but most important  first steps such as how to use a sewing machine ,make simple stitches , how to take accurate body measurements, how to use ready pattern blocks and how to most effectively alter them dependent on body measurements, toiling.

Should you have some previous experience of pattern making we will focus on drafting your own basic block using existing body measurements, different sewing techniques, toiling , fitting and correction of mistakes, applique.

For experienced students we are able to add to, and build on existing knowledge in specialist areas such as fabrics and their properties , the arts of draping , laying out and cuttingthe fabric, professional finishing,haute couture techniques  and fitting and tailoring
