Our team of dedicated and dynamic staff will deliver a bespoke program of activity that is focused on ensuring the child has fun whilst learning about all aspects of fashion design and making clothes. Each term we will offer a new exciting project, which will involve fundamentals of design, garment development, and end of the project Fashion Show or Photoshoot. Our students will learn:
- how to take accurate body measurements and to determine their true size,
- development of the design and fashion drawing,
-customized pattern drafting based on body measurements,
-laying out and cutting the fabric,
-basic stitching and finishing the garment,
-how to walk like a catwalk model.
Each project will culminate in a Fashion Show where our students will be invited to showcase their own creations with pride. You can have a look at our previous shows here.
Summary:
Each project duration: 10 weeks (1 session/ week)
Fee: £100 pounds ( can be paid in two installments)
